TURKEY, 2025

Come and join me on an idyllic lagoon retreat! This venue is located in an elevated position in a forested conservation area overlooking the Sülüngür Lagoon with spectacular views across the beautiful Dalyan delta and Istuzu beach. Only 25 minutes from Dalaman airport and yet the venue is peaceful, secluded and immersed in nature. In between yoga classes, tune into birdsong and the hum of cicadas, forest bathe or lounge by the pool. Or wander to the tradititional Turkish village nearby.

A private beach on the lagoon can be reached after a 15-minute walk through the forest for a swim in the lake.

Istuzu, a long, sandy beach in the conservation area where Loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs is only a short taxi ride away.

Feel the breeze and enjoy the views as we do our twice daily classes outside on a shady yoga platform.

Delicious vegetarian (or vegan) food, with a fish option twice a week. The food at this venue is so good that they have published a successful cookery book with their recipes.

TRANSPORT: The Lagoon Retreat is 25 minutes from Dalaman airport. Transfer is charged per person and averaged at the cost of everyone so that everyone pays the same, whether they arrive on their own or in a large group. It helps if we can all liaise on flights. If we can arrive as much as possible at the same time, or in clusters it will keep the cost down.
PAYMENT: I will ask for a £300 non refundable deposit when booking. The balance will then be made in stages, with the final payment made 3 months before the retreat. Cancellation within three months of the retreat will result in forfeiting the total payment unless a replacement is found. PLEASE DO TAKE OUT INSURANCE in case unforeseen changes happen and you need to cancel at the last minute. THE VENUE DOES INSIST ON TRAVEL INSURANCE
A NOTE ON MOBILITY
The venue is sited around a hill and has steps, particularly up to the yoga shala which has views from the top of
the site. So please take this into consideration if you have joint or mobility issues. The hike to the lake is a steepish 15 minute walk through the forest. You will need good shoes or walking sandals and be reasonably fit to go up and down, but it’s well worth it!
